Event Desciption

This is the official Social Program for the Introduction Week for Fall 2024 Exchange Students coming to CBS!


The Introduction Week Social Package contains the following:

• BRACELET PICKUP
  • The bracelet will grant you access to all the events of the Introduction Week Social Package and can be picked up at Finsensvej 6D.
• CAMPUS TOURS
  • Our CBS volunteers will show you around campus and will answer your questions and to top it all off, we'll be offering ice cream afterwards!
• WELCOME GET TOGETHER
  • We are ready to kick-off an amazing Introduction Week with you! Not only will we provide you with your bracelet and all the necessary information alongside a cold welcome drink.
  • This event is also your chance to first meet your fellow exchange students that you will spend the semester with.
• DANISH FOLK DANCING
  • Year after year, Danish Folk Dancing is the event which gets the best feedback.
  • Most of the dances are from around 1780-1880, and were originally danced by farmers and poor people.
  • The dances will be danced at a level so that everyone can participate. A professional folk dancing group will teach you the steps accompanied by a live orchestra. This is not to be missed!
• COPENHAGEN SCAVENGER HUNT
  • Do you want to see other things in Copenhagen besides your class room? We got you covered.
  • Explore the sights of the city with your teammates and complete fun challenges along the way. Prizes will be awarded!
  • Afterwards, meet up by the canals to enjoy the sunset over the city. 
• SEMESTER OPENING PARTY
  • Join thousands of CBS students in celebrating the semester start! We will have a booth set up just for exchange students. 
  • Note: admission to this event is closed, and as exchange students the social package bracelet will expedite your entrance to this party!
• EXCHANGE OLYMPICS & PICNIC
  • Show off your sporty and silly sides by competing in our Exchange Olympics! We'll have stations at a local park and a picnic to follow. (EVENT IS WEATHER PERMITTING.) 
• CANAL TOUR
  • See Copenhagen from the water with expert tour guides who will tell you all about the history of the city!
